Modeling of Powering Requirements for a Pelagic Trawler

The objective of this project is to use collected measurements to create improved model presenting powering requirements with the goal to get more accurate results than current simulation models are giving. This shall be done using different methods where emphasis will be put on detecting factors that affect the propulsion system's power usage and are not included in the models being used today.

With the introduction of these models, offshore analysis will be made more accurate that with todays simulation models along with the improvements for the decision support system on board.
